Singapore, 08/09/2021 – Mimo, home of the world’s first decentralized, algorithmic-bound EUR token, is now officially live on Polygon.
Polygon gets a massive integration with Mimo. With easy access to blockchain services based on a stable euro token, the newly merged DeFi project brings valuable benefits to the network.
Mimo’s application and core services remain the same, with the added benefit of all that Polygon has to offer. Mimo users will appreciate the option to continue mining, minting, and the lower gas fees and faster transactions that Polygon enables. With an implemented Layer 2 solution, long-term followers can finally open a vault and access their assets without selling crypto with a much lower barrier to entry.
Polygon is one of Ethereum’s Layer 2 side chains with its native MATIC token, a new type of security for Mimo vaults while also using the network. MATIC has proven to be a promising asset, and deals have exploded – and at a fraction of the cost. It is less than a cent paid in MATIC to process a transaction.
The development team explained how the technical feat of putting a project on polygon was worth the result:
“We are happy about this improvement and the development of the polygon bridge. Despite the technical hurdle, I am sure that Mimo users will appreciate the ability to access our apps via networks. “
The company has been keen to push Polygon integration for a number of reasons, including simplifying DeFi for those less experienced with cryptocurrencies, and responding to the numerous concerns about Ethereum’s mainchain fees:
“Users have been asking for this for months and we are excited to see how the community uses this. With lower fees, anyone can get started with Mimo and use our protocol a lot easier. Once adoption spreads, we will be much more ready to announce even more improvements to the community. ”~ Nick Calabro, Growth Manager
Polygon itself is one of the largest DeFi protocols, formerly known as the Matic Network. Since the functionality remains the same, the creation of a safe and embossing PAR is easier and more economical than ever.
